Process

You will be completing this project in your groups of three. This WebQuest will take more than one class to complete, but it will be done entirely in school, unless changes need to be made on your own time at home. Deadlines for this project are as follows:

February 1st: Research in Computer Lab the origin of Black History Month and some iconic figures that are honored during this time

February 8th: Turn in list of top three choices for figures to me (hand-written or typed)

February 10th: Students learn who they will be researching and are assigned to groups

February 12th: Researching for facts will start

February 14th: Facts should be finalized and sheets completed

February 15th-19th: Students will be given time in class and in Computer Lab to complete powerpoints

February 20th: Presentations will start (on the day that your group presents, make sure to have flash drive and printed out fact sheets)

February 21st-28th: Within this period presentations should be over and timeline will be completed!

This project will be heavily reliant on using computers and online sources, but if you feel that you need to visit the library for any extra books  that could help, then you are welcome to add onto the source that I give you as long as I approve the book that you choose.
