You've Reached The End!

The month of February may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean your research has to! Now that you have become somewhat an expert on the person that you chose, you should consider some final thoughts as you move forward. Many more Black History Months will come and go, but do not forget that although it is just one month of celebrating, it should be a lifetime of remembering--remembering those who have contributed to our rich history, and remembering what makes this country so amazing. The time you took to research your topic is only the beginning of what you will be learning for years to come.

Do you think that Black History Month should still be celebrated in February? Or did you learn something about your public figure that makes you think the month should change in order to honor that person? Do you think that it is important to not celebrate this month but to teach lessons such as the ones you learned this month to students all over the country? What, in your opinion, is the most important thing about this holiday?

As you think about these questions, remember that knowledge is just a click or a page turn away, and you can learn something new every single day about anything or anyone! May your future WebQuest experiences bring you even more knowledge and excitement than the last!
